How right he is! You need to watch this short speech from Rep. David Obey (WI - D) in which he angrily attacks the naysayers who opposed the House Bill setting a date-certain for getting our troops out of Iraq.

By the way, the Democratic bill to direct our withdrawal from Iraq passed today by 228 - 212. Eric Kleefeld over at TPM Election Central gives the House vote breakdown, and the comments that follow his post provide enough background to demonstrate that the real vote wasn't that close. This was well-managed by Nancy Pelosi, and she should get a lot of credit for her handling of this issue.
