I'm not sure this isn't overly optimistic, but I have seen little in Texas or American politics since bush defeated Ann Richards for Texas Governor in 1994. Sitll, it is a beautiful metaphor and highly hopeful for those of us who consider ourselves Americans and are proud of what our nation had become after WW II - before the conservatives got into position to dismantle our great nation.

Then consider the Walter Reed scandal and the US Attorney removal scandal as two more moves at the lower levels of the same Jenga stack.
The future looks pretty good.
