How excited are the Republicans about McCain?

Mile High Stadium in Denver holds 75,000 people and there isn't enough room for everyone who wants to be there for Obama's acceptance speech.

Tomorrow McCain is expected to announce his Vice-President choice at Wright State University's Nutter Center. CNN reports:
The presumptive Republican nominee will appear with his prospective running mate at a massive rally on August 29, the day after Barack Obama formally accepts the Democratic presidential nomination.

The McCain campaign is hoping to have 15,000 people at the Ohio rally — roughly five times the size of his largest crowd to date.
The Dayton Daily News reports:
DAYTON — Tickets are still available for Sen. John McCain's Friday, Aug. 29, rally at Wright State University's Nutter Center in Fairborn. [Snip]

Tickets are being given away at county GOP offices in southwest Ohio and in Indiana and Kentucky.
The media will not show the empty seats indicating a lack of passion for McCain, but it's going to be difficult to totally ignore.
