If you watch the TV pundits or if you are one of those retrogrades who actually reads the press, it is abundantly clear that the choice of the Presidential nominee for each party will be determined by which candidate comes across the finish line in each state winning and thus builds up "momentum" for further races. Second place is losing right? The horse race is everything!
So why does Mitt Romney have a strategy of collecting delegates? Matt Yglesias describes Romney's delegate strategy and points out that Mitt has the largest number of delegates right now of any of the Republican candidates?
Think the news boys and girls would bother reporting on that little detail?
