Lieberman and the morning after pill

So-called "Democratic" Senator Joe Lieberman opposes requiring Catholic hospitals to offer the emergency controceptive [the "morning after pill"] if they object on moral grounds. In his words "In Connecticut, it shouldn't take more than a short ride to get to another hospital."

But what if the rape victim doesn't know how to get to anouther hospital? Connecticut Bob has kindly stepped in with maps and distances beteen some of the other hospitals that the Catholic hospitals will be sending rape victims to. He even very kindly offers estimated time to walk the distances.

Hey Richard, thanks for linking the story. Nice blog!

I'm a little shocked at the response it's getting; people are really angry with Lieberman, that's for sure.
