It is bad enough that while Bush was on the ground Friday in New Orleans conducting his photo-op all helicopters in the State were grounded and all rescues or food drops were put on hold until he left. Now we find out that not only was the photo-op staged, the food distribution points he was photographed visiting were set up for the photos and then torn down or abandoned when he left! It was faked for the photos! No one was helped except Bush and his photographers, and real help for people who needed it was delayed so they could do it! That is a purely criminal action!
Bush knows he is in real trouble politically over the failure of FEMA and the federal government to act soon enought and effectively. (See The New York Times Sunday 09-04-05) Does he go into hight gear to actually get stuff done properly?
Of course not. He goes into high gear to fake acting like he was doing something and then tries to shift the blame for all the federal failures to Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. But look at this (Thanks to AmericaBlog). The Dept of Homeland Security Web site says the agency will assume "primary responsibility" for any "natural disaster or large-scale emergency."
Bush is obviously the worst excuse for a President America has ever suffered!
