The Turncoat Democratic Senators

The vote for cloture on the bankruptcy bill yesterday was 69 to 31. Had the cloture vote failed, the bankruptcy bill could have been filibustered, with some hope of killing it. A Yea vote was a vote for predatory credit card companies and other predatory lenders.

The 31 Nay votes on cloture were all Democrats. All Republicans voted Yea on cloture. Sadly the following 14 Democratic Senators also all vote Yea. The Yeas needed only 41 votes to win. That's only 10 more than they got.

Biden (D-DE)
Byrd (D-WV)
Carper (D-DE)
Conrad (D-ND)
Johnson (D-SD)
Kohl (D-WI)
Landrieu (D-LA)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Nelson (D-FL)
Nelson (D-NE)
Pryor (D-AR)
Salazar (D-CO)
Stabenow (D-MI)

These people need to be remembered in the Primaries for their next election. Lieberman is top on that list.
