Sen. Kit Bond (R-MO) wrote a letter that was published Sunday in the New York Times, and suddenly the whole "Iraq thing" is explained and resolved! It's so simple. Really!

While I agree that we had the wrong plan for three years, we now have the right one, and the right man to lead it.

There! See! All this angst over the war in Iraq is resolved! It's just that we had the wrong strategy for three years, but that little glitch has been corrected, and we have the right man in place to deal with the difficulties in Iraq.

I wonder who that "right man to lead it" is? Oh, and what the correct strategy really is. but I'm sure that Sen. Bond knows, and he wouldn't mislead us. He seems like such a nice man.
