700 billion dollars won't be enough

Bill Gross of PIMCO says "The banking system needs another $500 billion to survive beyond the $700 billion rescue plan being contemplated by Congress."

At last - someone with a bit of knowledge being honest. As to the additional amount needed - well, it's at least clear that $700 billion will not be enough.
