Glass houses; thrown stones; Bush

George Bush, in a speech given today to the Israeli Knesset, said about Obama that "that talking to "terrorists and radicals" was no different than appeasing Hitler and the Nazis."

This is a strange comment coming from the grandson of Prescott Bush who profited greatly from his dealings with Nazis.

Obama has never done or said anything as egregious as what Prescott Bush did, and George still to this day lives on the profits of his grandfather's treasonous activities. In fact, where Prescott Bush committed treason, Obama merely states that diplomacy with America's enemies may be preferable to a rush to war. Since Bush has pretty much destroyed America's ground forces in his idiotic Iraq war and occupation, that may be the only realistic option open to the next President.

Bush has got to be a fool, a moron or desperate to have made such a highly political statement to the Parliament of a foreign nation. The only rational reason to have done it is to add to the Republican effort to turn Jewish voters against Obama through the on-going undercurrent of NeoCon- and AIPAC-inspired lies that are being spread about Obama's supposed unwillingness to support Israel.
