There are many things the right-wingers hate, but a successful highly-intelligent independent outspoken woman is very close to the top. It is a visceral reaction with them. Take that, add to it that the woman is also a very attractive Black woman who is married to the next President of the United States, and watch the right-wing heads explode!
Any woman like that is going to be dragged through every social Hell the right-wingers can devise to try to make her disappear so that they do not have to face the inadequacy of their world-view and their restricted definition of what women can act like.
Count on it. Michelle Obama is going to be attacked in every way possible. Maureen Dowd's attacks in particular will be constant and nasty. The Stepford Wives of the Eagle Forum will be out in force. Currently we have the ravings of Christopher Hitchens on the subject.

Josh Marshall is correct. FOX is a truly disgusting organization. One strong hint? They put that nasty narcissistic Filipina reject Michelle Malkin on the screen. Then they start talking and things get even worse.
